A Poem by I Am Svetlana

Hurt me, baby
and I'll love you harder.
"Whatever it takes to break you."
It devours my waking hours.

I taste blood like raindrops.
Imagine our last conversation,
kiss, fallout.
There's nothing left to miss anymore.

Was it a matter of timing?
Like madness,
bringing us face-to-face.
I let the thought tear into space.

If we met up at midnight,
I'd hear the background music of murder.
Using boxes of chalk and pencils
just to draw it all out.

We were each others key.
What led us to this?
I cannot forget, cannot regret
the strange things

that happened here.

I Am Svetlana
I really don't know how to title this piece, but if anyone has suggestions, that'd be great!
