Play Me That Song

Play Me That Song

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

Play me that song
in sorrow,
which will take me
back to rainbows.

And the silver moon
will shine as my
suspicious, chilly heart
survived another winter.

Tears? Of course,
but I'm bound by
invisible strings
as I hum along.

Play me that song
in sorrow,
help me find
my place within

this withering world.
