Perfect Disappointment

Perfect Disappointment

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

I'm your perfect disappointment
and hold no guilt.
No need to be perfect,
I couldn't achieve that either.

The stars spell out your name,
but I feel like I don't belong.
Here, with you, anymore.
If anything, I am an outcast.

I have a confession:
I enjoy being hurt,
feeling low, wishing to die.
It's what I most deserve.

I live to be
a perfect disappointment
in a totally
wretched world.

This poem made me think of being comfortable in unhappiness. It's as though they feel that they are comfortable in their feeling of disappointment which is something I think most people can relate to. I don't have any criticisms, it was great.
