Isn't Forever

Isn't Forever

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

And though he didn't say forever,
love threading my veins
before I can dance.
Endings are daunting
and cause a whole lot of damage.
This could never truly be home.

I wander from room to room,
each embodies loneliness.
If all places feel this way,
let us pick our separate journeys.
Toward Heaven's gate,
let's say this isn't forever.
