Bodies

Bodies

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

Was it really just yesterday
that we disappeared the night before?

Emptiness, blackness, nothing.
How do you realize you were nothing but a mistake?

Life holds even more unknowns.
Heart sank in surrender.

We can be the favored outcasts,
soar over those sleeping bodies.
