There's a war
raging within my mind,
begging me to be brave
after saying goodbye.

It's been a long day

Losing someone important, is almost like death. Someone is there in your life all the time, and then poof gone. I hope that you heal from what you're going through and know that better things are on their way, I really enjoyed the simpleness of this poem, really good job.
