Emptiness

Emptiness

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

Pondering words.
Conflicting emotions.
A blur of sights
and sounds,
like a drug-induced
hallucination.

Struck by an
icy hesitation,
he had to pretend
he didn't have
voices in his head.

He floated in emptiness.

I can see someone standing there with you in a speechless haze after you've asked him something important to you. Nice one.
