Measure Lives

Measure Lives

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

It's interesting to know
that we measure our lives
I'm suicide notes & pill bottles
until we are truly gone.
A timid victim act
we all play.

"It'll be quicker this way"
as if left by an Angels kiss.
Everything is so delicate,
it must have critical balance.
It's just the way things are.

Everyone knew
sadness & happiness
need each other.

The life contains both sadness and happiness... these are also a part of our life... but to maintain an equilibrium between them is necessary.... I also agree with you that everyone knew his/her happiness and sadness, but there are only few persons, who know to manage a balance between them.... lovely writing on human nature.... Thank for sharing.
