Becoming Passion

Becoming Passion

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

You can burn
me to ashes,
but let me find
my favorite pieces of your skin
I have not yet kissed.

I want to keep you here
among nameless things.
I want the passion we share,
leave sheets painted with you.
There's nothing quite so important.

I will not stop,
until you're aching
for the taste of air.
I only ask for passion,
leaving nothing undone.
I want to become the way it feels.

I love this. Beautifully written, sensual, but deeper as well.
