Butterflies

Butterflies

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

Let me hold
a cup of desire
in a bright spot
among darkness.
Silence will grow cold
as a swarm of butterflies
captures so many eyes.
They hold an appetite
for sunlight,
putting a constant distance
between them and
an utterly sad place.
