SoldiersA Poem by I Am Svetlana
Rolling in silence,
soldiers line a wall Unaware they will soon become names on fresh gravestones. Convinced they found their places hand-in-hand with war. Soon being shot dead. The tears of families refuse to dry as they are there to witness the coffins arriving. Buried in the fields of dying flowers. Every family remains shattered. © 2016 I Am SvetlanaAuthor's Note
