Plunged Shadows

Plunged Shadows

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

My life slips away
beyond the light,
on the other side of pain.
I shouldn't think about
all that remained
covered in pins.
That only lands me
in endless, pouring sadness.
Every passing day,
I master the fine art
of disarming my soul.
Allowing myself to breathe again.
As if by magic,
the shadows had plunged.

Author's Note

I Am Svetlana
We all have our secrets of how to overcome our inner demons that wish to bring us down EVERYTIME they seem to catch us alone, but we should know that we are stronger than we think.

Very pure and raw. I like the imagery of falling and dropping.
