Dark Shells

Dark Shells

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

It's dangerous not to
kiss under the bleachers
when you're young.
Finish the rendezvous
in a private bathroom,
left intoxicated with his gaze.
Burning time with
your strange duet.
Both naked as carp.
Even in exile,
your dark shells
break from the shadowy inside.
