Happy Ending

Hey there folks.
Know that behind my smile
is everything you'll never understand.
The world will never know
the silence I keep.
There is often
no, no way out.
It hasn't been just me.
I know many feel the same.
We can all fight together
in this trapped corner.
I know we didn't get our happy ending,
but we can surely make one!

Pretty much describes a battle of depression & how we can get through it.

Very sweet poem 👍 I feel like this website is a watering hole for those introverted, creative and yet anxious people that just want to meet each other and share their feelings and experiences. I relate deeply to this poem, especially the first three lines. I find myself so often trying to mask the inner turmoil I feel bubbling to the surface, Its nice to know there are others out there who feel the same and so as one zebra to another,

"I like your stripes dude"
