Blank Face

Blank Face

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

I always had a way with words,
too beautiful to ignore.
The page is like a blank face
you have to shatter.
We have been looking for
a way to see all the pieces
make sense for every moment
we spend together.
I've never tolerated the things you've done.
It isn't livable like this,
but we always seem to remember
how these things end...
