Favors

Do me a favor
and tie my eyes shut,
so I'll never
try to question my beauty.

Do me a favor
and sew my lips together,
so I'll never
dare to criticize myself.

Do me a favor
and glue my fingers together,
so I'll never
constantly itch my ugly skin.

Do me a favor
and lock me in a room of mirrors,
so I'll never
have to worry about being perfect.

Do me a favor,
the most important of all:
teach me how to
love myself unconditionally.

Keep away the negative thinking.. First we should love and respect ourselves unconditionally, otherwise if we do not love ourselves, we will not lover others. But as a poem to learn how to love unconditionally is good. I like the repetition of "Do me a favor" and the last lines. Thanks for sharing.
