Your Greatest Superpower

I live a life
with a future unknown,
yet as each new morning appears,
you never hesitate
to greet me with a kiss
and make me more thankful
for an empty mind.

That, my dear love,
is your greatest superpower.
One which no one else
has happened to figure out.
I'll tell you to leave the door open
because I never want this to change.
This is the only way
I'll understand loves true meaning.

And with that,
I will always remind myself:
"You'll be perfect
for the one
who deserves you."
