Until DawnA Poem by I Am Svetlana
How do I take
a glimpse into the world when all I own are broken mirrors? With bloodshot eyes, I struggle to feel less. Simply lost within myself. A shameless, dirty body. Bare skin written on by those from the past. Shying away from reality while I try to summon a wolf in my bones. Emotionally bound to it. It's nights like these when a dizzying madness makes itself at home. I'm afraid to sleep, but there's a simple thought which somehow forces me to scrape my way through until dawn arrives. © 2016 I Am SvetlanaAuthor's Note
