Cruel Intentions

Cruel Intentions

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

My, my...
What a shame.
How could you not see
that I only loved you
with cruel intentions?

I spit on every picture of us,
then burned each book
you ever bought me.
I never mentioned
that I hate reading, did I?

I wished you were here
to witness my lovely ritual.
I could've expressed my hate
for such simple things...
as well as my
deepened hate for you.

My, my...
Such a shame
it all had to end this way,
but if it makes you
feel any better,
at least you know
the truth behind me.
To finally discover
who I really am.
