Writer, InterruptedA Poem by I Am Svetlana
People, I beg you--
don't bother someone when they're weaving words. Too hypnotized by the pen to care about whatever you may need. What did you expect? We're writers, we must do this in order to stay sane. We can't care about the worlds end, if the garbage has to go out or even taking a shower. What more can I say? The pen calls us and when it does, (no matter the time or place) we must respond. It's our priority. Our personal addiction. Surely, you must understand? I apologize for cutting this conversation short, but my pen wants me to write a new poem. © 2016 I Am SvetlanaReviews
