Always in Love

I'll admit it...
there was panic, alright?
To write down exactly what I felt,
feeling it slowly take me apart.
I know my heart has lied,
but it remains committed to yours.
Living without you is hard,
but I write the world this poem
to remind me that I can't bleed forever.
I'll gather all of my unlovable pieces
and shut out the whispers I hear in the dark.
They say you can't save a sinner,
but I need to overcome this fear.
The paper remained empty
while I spent too many days in the rain.
Words aren't a bandage, I know...
but I'll be certain that no matter what,
we were always in love.

This is such a sweet and romantic write. its full of emotion, depth and thought.
Through everything no matter what, good and bad, even distance, love can overcome anything, if its strong enough.
