Loving You

Loving You

A Poem by I Am Svetlana
"

Loving you was destroying me...

"
I don't feel dead
when my heart
speaks your name.
Everything is peaceful
as I fall asleep
to words
of black & white.

I learned to miss you
with a bleeding heart,
dreaming of heavens
we'll never own.
Imagine our lips locked
as midnight turns black.
A disturbing disaster.

Without focus,
I'll ink your memory
deep in my journal
and remind myself
it has everything
to do with love.

Lost within
helpless fiction
and timeless kisses.
Please understand
that loving you
was destroying me.

Nice. I like the cadence and the mood it projects to me, reminds of a time in my life with someone I thought I'd never be able to let go. Good job.
