Misconstructed

Misconstructed

A Poem by I Am Svetlana
"

Do we need God?

"
Within the ruins,
confessions were whispered.
The Devils dolls shared
the most wretched thoughts.
At the edge of this graveyard,
Warriors were no longer
walking beside you.
We don't need God,
but don't I
deserve the truth?
I am human,
though my skin is
pale like cement.
On second thought,
maybe we do need God
since the whole world
seems to be misconstructed.

Author's Note

I Am Svetlana
I've found it so hard recently to still keep my faith in humanity...but I still hope that one day, we will be able to put our differences aside & eventually come together.
