Stitches

Stitches

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

Every stranger
stumbled in
with their own wounds.

Stitch after stitch,
adding attempted perfection.
I sat there & sewed them up.

Doing my best
to make them
beautiful again.

I like this a lot. Simple, heartbreaking and yet touching, and powerful may I add! :) Tyfs!
