Home Again

Home Again

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

Face down in the dirt,
trying to stop the hurt.
I refuse to speak.
I refuse to feel.

My Lover needs to see
that I a, simply
waiting to die,
wondering why.

I want to stay here
in this moment,
cursing the miles
in between.

If you want,
feel free to
leave a message
at the tone.

There are shadows
who would be glad
to escort me
home again.

the imagery is good. shadows that will take you home, facing the dirt. The rhyme structure is random but it has a nice flow to it. My only opinion is to change the last line to "back home" so it could rhyme with 'tone' in fourth stanza and continues the flow.
