When You're Gone

When You're Gone

A Poem by I Am Svetlana
"

When you're gone, why must I feel so much?

"
When you're gone,
I feel empty.
Like someone carved
into my heart
until it can't
be refilled.

When you're gone,
I feel the most alone.
It's when silence rings,
my thoughts begin to feed.

When you're gone,
I feel complicated.
Useless, disposable.
A waste of space.

When you're gone,
why must I feel so much?
Feel so numb inside?
Dead & shameful.

Please, come home.
Help me breathe again.
