The Baby

Here is a baby
So delicate and fragile.
Her soft blond hair
Her blue eyes remind me of icicles.
She is such a beautiful thing
That has arrived on this Earth.
To care for her
Takes time, patience and dedication.
In the end
We all love her.

This was a cute poem. My favorite part of this piece is how you took the reference to the ice and made it non-threatening and magical. You really managed to bring out the purity of the water. That unconventional style is what I appreciated the most about this poem. Nice Touch!
