Better

Better

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

I wake up for morning

And I feel nothing

But better.

I can breathe freely again

Because your hands

Are gone

From clutching my throat.

I've never felt

So free before.

I thank you

For letting go

And disappearing.

Aw! I love this. There's a hint of affection for the other person, but it's more like relief... It gives the impression that they'll never see each other again.
There's this sort of... danger in that 'clutching at my throat' line. I like it. lol
Great. I love this.

I would relate to this poem by my sleep apnea problems... Sometimes when I'm sleeping I can't breathe and I can't move.
