You seem different.

Why have you changed?

I thought

We were meant to be.

Turns out I was wrong.

We will always be "special friends"

But never together

Like we used to be.

We'll always stay the same

As we are now.

Umm let see I know this feeling a little too well myself. That connection that you just can't break. the person who holds half of your heart but you are too far away to be with them. or maybe for other reasons. These emotions and thoughts are hard to deal with. You have captured it very well. It could be worse...not being friends. The flow of this poem is smooth. I could really connect and put myself in this poem. Great work here.
