Be Gone

Be Gone

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

Often times

I wish you were dead.

That way

I wouldn't have to remember you

As much as I do.

It hurts to know you are stil here

Just not with me.

The pain in my chest

Worsens.

I turn off the lights

Your breath is in the air.

I can't help

But inhale.

Your breath exists in my room

But only to haunt me

And give me an ache to miss you.

If you were dead

Your breath would rot

And die as well.

Be gone

So I can live.

hatered and pain at its poetic best! wonder if its a hatered being negative love kind of feeling...guess its not...the hatered here it way too strong to be considered as diluted with some amount of love..no..its not..
its so pure..a pure potrait of raw emotions inked on an old paper of painful memories...I can so relate to it... wrote a similar piece once..and now i regret it.. God, i think heard what I wished for and granted it...
I am not sure if the writer here actually hates him as strongly as she has penned her hatered...but I am sure about the state of mind the writer was in while writing this piece...
to me...its wonderful rage poetry...just a pure flow of pain caused and loath set free..
great piece!
