A Poem by I Am Svetlana

I feel obliged

To write about you.

I’m sorry

That you are on my mind so often.

I can think of nothing

But your face.

I have dreamt of cuddling with you.

Being close to you.

One dream,

You pecked my forehead with your lips.

I couldn’t help

But peck your cheek right away.

Claiming you as “mine”.

It felt so right.

You and I.

But this is reality

And we are just friends.

How I wish we were more.

This is a great poem simply explaining the need of wanting more than a friendship. the dreams that haunt you...I know those kind of dreams well. Glad mine have finally stopped.
