I remember you years ago.

In your days of endless solitude.

I could never fix your colorless eyes.

Though I tried every day.

Nothing seemed to help.

 

I sat alone on that bench that very day.

I always thought I would see you again.

Turns out

That was the last day I saw you.

 

You never appeared anymore.

Never in front of me.

 

Only in my dreams.

This is such a sad and haunting poem… Beautifully written, but I think the flow could use some work. It could be the use of punctuation at the end of every line; I think the periods make it a bit chunky. Perhaps try some commas and semi-colons?

But other than that, I really love it. Great job.
