Moonlit Shine

Moonlit Shine

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

Smiling at me.

All I really want to do is kiss you.

Please let me step to you

And connect your lips with mine.

I promise this moment

Won’t be bad.

It’ll lift your heart to the bluest of skies

The calmest of seas,

Sandiest of beaches.

The shells will sparkle on the surface

As the sun shines upon the world

Heating up the ground beneath our feet.

Soon, darkness will fall

And you’ll be with me.

This moment to shine

Upon in moonlight.
