Turning Me Away

Turning Me Away

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

How dare you

Turn me to the road of isolation

And nothing.

Then it dawned on me:

You were done caring.

Finished with putting up with me.

I drove you crazy.

You couldn't eat,

Sleep or think.

I was everywhere.

You needed out.

And turning me away

Was the best choice you had.

I can totally relate to this poem, but it was me who had to turn someone away :/

I could really relate to this poem. It reminds me of a freind I used to have, and the two of us were in the same position. He turned me away, because I made him think about himself, and the world around him. He didn't want to open his mind to reality, or open his heart to me, just wanted to fit in. So, just like that we were no longer freinds.

Wonderful poem!- Let Eli Come In

Don't let that thought linger too long... Some of us are always blaming ourselves and we're usually not the blame and .... anyway, Your work I love; honest, open, clear, thought provoking. Enjoyd the read!!!!!!!!!!!
