Hollywood Judge

Hollywood Judge

A Poem by I Am Svetlana

Hollywood today:

Judgmental.

The red carpet recognizes you,

It embraces you.

Glitz and glamour

Is all you are.

Yet, not everyone likes your every move.

The camera loves you, so it pretends.

The media photo shops your face, body image.

You are not you.

Rumors are made and you aren’t the same.

The cameras and people then question

Who you are.

so true; everyone feeds into the illusions of hollywood just to say they are part of the hoopla - we all become judges when we stack ourselves against the illusion they paint for us...we glorify them to the point of nauseum; then realize that they are only human when they fall like us; only the dffierence is; the gossip we create feeds their pockets.
