A Poem by I Am Svetlana

Don’t make me stand here and

Look like a fool.

It is you

Who looks uncool.

Don’t tell me what to do because

You think you’re the boss.

When really, all you are

Is just a chunk of moss.

The kind ants crawl on and

Maggots live in.

I guess you won’t be talking much

When I’m finished.

Just lower your head and

Bow to me.

Because I am the queen,

You see?

When I’m around, don’t act hard.

Unless you want a good mark.

I’ll leave you faceless and alone in the dark.

No light will be shed for you.

Not even a splinter.

As I leave,

You’ll be bleeding.

I’ll be busy sleeping

As you cry deeply.

As I leave out the door,

I’ll have the world’s biggest smile on my face.

Knowing I’ve accomplished

An impossible task.

With a smile on my face

And leaving you broken on the floor.

Smiling as I leave

And when I shut the door.
