A Poem by I Am Svetlana

What's the point in chasing eachother
When we're both after different things?
You're so caught up about sex
It makes me wonder if you even like me the same way you say you do.
I want to believe that you like me the same,
But my walls make me second guess myself.
Questioning if I will be making a mistake if we ever got back together.
Sure, I want to be with you and I like you just the same.
But you're need for sex
Just makes me not even care about wanting you back anymore.
I may just be making a big mistake.

Seems you bring up a not very unique question. What constitutes anothers' sense of closeness? Does sex increase or decrease emotional bonds? How did a couple get to where sex was all there was and after boredom sets in - then what next?

Life as a large portion of the world lives it... not necessarily wants it.
