Always in my Heart

Always in my Heart

A Poem by Emerald Moonstar
"

For a special someone. Comments welcome.

"

I love you I miss you I need you.

I can’t remember how to function without you

I know where I went wrong

I know that I can’t fix it

I can’t stop thinking about you

I can’t stop seeing you

You hurt me to my core

But I still think you are beautiful

Your heart is wicked

Your face warms loins of many

Could I have one more chance please

I need to know how it would have worked out

I’m happy now

He makes me happy now

But my heart still belongs to you

Why do we love those who kill our spirit

Those who we gave all of ourselves

My hearts beats faster when I think of you

My blood turns cold

I can make up excuses

Call you evil and crude

But only I know

That there is a space for you

Always in my heart

Always in my home

Always in my bed

What do you think? Sound like a desperate plea to get him back?

I don't think it sounds like a desperate plea, but you can really tell how much the character wants to be with them, and how much they love them.

I really liked this poem! It was very emotional and a beautiful poem. I could really feel the emotion in this poem. In my opinion, it doesn't sound like a desperate plea or anything. You really let the reader know how much you loved the person, how they make you feel, and how they'll always be in your heart. I really enjoyed reading this poem! :D
