Secrets

A Poem by Emily

She Tried

        To Change

      The Moon Into The Sun

Completely Forgetting

                                   About The Stars

(The Truth Of A Lie

                        Fascinates Her

                                   When It Is

Wrapped With A Blue Ribbon )

Angering Huitzilopochtli

A Tornado Of Snow

  Collapsed The Roof

Straight On Her Head

   Crushing Her Brains

Out Her Ears

One Late January Night.
