As Ive listened to you.

I need you to try and understand

instead of judging.

I need you to stop what you are doing.

You listen and then lecture.

You miss the point altogether.

I don't need someone to tell me what I did wrong.

Honest, to the point and very easy to relate to. Many times have I stood upon that rocky shore, debating on wether I should keep standing and listening to what i already know or jump aboard the nearest ship and hope I find a place where people can understand the part inside.

This is a heartfelt plea to be heard and not judged. I believe all of us have this need for unconditional love which allows us to pour out our heart and know it will be okay and that whatever we confide to someone will not be divulged to others.

Strong emotions flow through this with the need for love and understanding as well as anger in not being really heard. Very well penned.
