What scares you?

Why is it you're crying? 

What is it you fear? 

I hear the voices ask me

They ask why i'm upset

why tears wont stop running

down my pale cheeks 

why i haven't left my bed 

but i don't know

I just am

and it wont stop 

the tears won't stop

and now i'm shaking

they say to me

"It's okay you can tell me"

but there is no way of saying 

"tell you what?" 

without sounding

like a sarcastic a*****e

without sounding

like you're hiding something

without sounding

like every word you say

pains you

burns your tongue

breaks your heart

Hello Duckey,

You know, some of the best things about reviewing other's work, is that someday I'll stumble upon a jem. A Jem. And this, is one such moment. The main thing that strikes me is how much I can relate to this. These are the very emotions I've been trying to pen down since time immoral. Plus, its a poem! What more can a tormented soul ask for?
