I remember
A Poem by Duckey
Do you remember The nights we laughed The nights we smiled and talked for hours
Or do you just remember The arguments we had?
Because we had Many more good times than bad Yet you focus On the times you cried Or i made you angry And that needs to stop
Stop looking for the bad in people For an excuse to push them away Because i am fed up of waiting For you to see the good in me

Sometimes, Emily, we must force the issue, for both sides, to move forward, with life. To burst the negative bubble, which your friend is trapped in. I know, myself, I have been guilty of this, of finding myself, trapped, in negative memories, from the past. I do hope, the two of you, are able to move forward and have a lasting loving relationship. Thank you, for sharing this very personal poem, with us.
