Stay

I wrote this for my boyfriend for Christmas. :) It's about all the little "its" he does that I love. <3

There's something about the way you look at me,

And when I ask "what?" you just smile.

It's in the way you hold my hand when you drive,

And how you kiss me at every stop light.

It's when you dance to my favorite song with me,

Even though we both hate dancing.

It's in your smile when you laugh,

And it's in the way you sing.

It's in every word you speak.

But I don't know what "it" is.

I do know that whatever "it" is,

It's beautiful.

"It" could mean anything,

But to me it means one thing.

Stay, because leaving isn't an option anymore.

It never was.
