Day light departs The street lights become a-part of the city loom A Pacific swell grooms the air Walking along the waters edge The stone coast reflecting a ledge, which the mind believes is real
Feel the Fall fog fall upon the skin of the Earth Searching for love is a new birth Fate following cloaked in the shadows
Blurry vision
Someone's coming
Unforeseen circumstance Uncommonly familiar
Closer
Closer
Closer
Big eyes showing the Moon
Could it be? Has it always been?
Dark hair curvy as an "S" turn desire yearns Lurking inside with a feeling of deja vu
I know you
Silence Then a whisper
The sound of early morning birds
Pitch as the night descends
Still standing with a wide open lens
Knowing love never leaves the heart in the dark as she has made her mark

Such a deep wonderful heartfelt write, full of trust, love, great devotion, and inner knowledge. She must be a wonderful person... as she bloomed even with an open lens, as you can catch thunders with it, to phrase the art of reflection. Wonderfully write, and the music is breathtaking ♥ Such a beautiful write......European hats off!
I love this is, I love every breathtaking line. The beauty of your metaphors are outstanding and I think that's incredible the intensity you bring in this poem
To answer a couple questions asked about the inspiration. Yes, it is deeper than any memory or new love. Actually, I recently have lost love in more than one way, and gained some back, also in more than one way. The women coming is both new love and fate. She is left open for the reader to interpret as they will, however, she exsits. I am an introvert by nature, but am no rookie to the stage, and would gladly accept all types of gifts. :)
-the opening and parts really capture city life at night....and walkers running into blurry visions that come into focus as familiar. my fave lines are...:
Day light departs
The street lights become a-part of the city loom
A Pacific swell grooms the air
Walking along the waters edge
...
.Blurry vision
Someone's coming...
Closer..
I know you...
Silence
Then a whisper..
I read this in silence at first. It definitely held its own alone. But after I injected your music selection, I felt a deeper intensity with this piece. I wondered if this was indeed about a person? If so, was it love newly met or an imparted memory of what once was? Could this possibly be deeper than that? A solitary moment where connection was made with nature? This artform is so introspective and personal to its maker, that sometimes its hard to discern. What is symbolic and what is face value, much like dreams. You have a wonderful manipulation with words and of conveying that raw human quality. I find it refreshing that this spark (poetry) of creative expression is not dead to the male heart of this century. Me thinks if thou lived in the age of great bards...many a petticoat and corset would have been thrown at your stage! lol
Very well done Sir ;-)
