Love with passion so fated

Love with passion so fated

A Poem by EmpressPoetess

For Albert's poetry cafe's Fun with form contest. This is a Rondeau redouble. I hope I did it right!

This love  with passion so fated
my dear for you I live and breathe
with your charms I’m so elated
without you I’d be oh so grieved

My dear for you I live and breathe
your embrace I’ve long awaited
your kiss I fondly do receive
this love, with passion so fated

With your charms I’m so elated
Now that your love I have achieved
Loneliness is thus abated
without you I’d be oh so grieved

Without you I’d be oh so grieved
my poor heart would be so weighted
your love has made me so relieved
this love with passion so fated

With tears of joy I’m elated
let not my wretched heart be grieved
to join with you I’ve long waited
I cherish what I have received
this love with passion.

I agree it has an old world style feel about it mixed with your modern touch... I feel it has fighting the odds when everyone doubts the love you have.

Cleverly composed - with a sort of Elizabethan feel about it...
