Rose colored glasses

Rose colored glasses

A Poem by EmpressPoetess

Arid winds blow.

Birds of prey scour

the desolate land.

A face frowns above

an empty trough.

where ants crawled  in the dust,

the ocean once flowed.

still the world seems to sleep,
oblivious to the gray outer  reality: Chaos!

this speaks a multitude in classy dress, I loved the form, the dire meaning,
your words flow like charms for such a tragic meaning. brilliant.
