Enchanted heart

Hear now, beloved, my heart’s plea
as I long to join in love with thee
whispering near this Cyprus tree
awaiting here so anxiously

A Sparrow sings,

but it cheers not now
mine poor aching heart

below thou window's bough

Should not yee answer be

in favor of this love so dearly
that I offer  yee so sincerely
what reason I, to give,
to continually live?

Loneliness must surely bring
more suffering than death
trembling lips whisper longingly
with anticipation’s breath

To share love with you, so purely
I yield myself the perfect whole
to seal in thou heart eternally

I trust to thee, my tender soul
