The rhythm of the danceA Poem by EmpressPoetessThis was inspired by the picture
I love the rhythm of the dance swing and dip me on the floor Catch the symphony’s new cadence Feel it deep within your core
It keeps the rhythm flowing smooth So the dancers maintain poise It’s orchestrated soft and low To filter out surrounding noise
Do the tango, boldly stepping Daring stares at your dance mate Sexy swivel as you’re prepping To finish with an austere gait
Dark moon, rise and wake the night Sends a signal loud and clear Chantille ball begins at midnight Shame on you, if you’re not there © 2011 EmpressPoetess |
