Time stands still beyond the whispering wind
I hear your heartbeat call to me from within
I search the azure skies but you’re not there
I must send you my plea upon the vapid air

I left you alone and broken hearted
Reasons fail me as to why we parted
I pray I haven’t lost the best part of me

Time let me see the error of my ways
Now please forgive me for those absent days

Wow, this was very good. I'm liking it alot! The lines "I pray I haven't lost the best part of me" and "Time let me see the error of my ways, no please forgive me for those absent days". Well written and it flowed together quite nicely. :)
