Heavenly HurtA Poem by Rose DowningSuch a bad break up... The higher you fly... well... you know.
Heaven has hurt us deep down in our hearts.
I know that look on your face. So I guess we just slowly fell apart, What I did was such a disgrace. But when you hold me like when we first met. So what else am I to do? Finally felt free. Freedom at what debt? So hard to break up with you. One part old fashioned, 2 parts out of rhyme and GUESS WHAT! I still love you so. Guess I'm just making up for lost time. Come closer, please never let go. My head is screaming the actions of that day, It keeps playing like some bad song. With touch made of nexus, don't make it go away, So heaven, just what did I do wrong? You just make me love you, but it tears at my heart. And GUESS WHAT! I'm proud to call you mine. So what am I to do? I don't want to depart. But someday. It happens all the time. © 2025 Rose DowningAuthor's Note
